All layers have been pre-washed but make sure to wash again before using.

When using the washing machine, set the water to cold to prevent staining.

You can either hang-dry or set the dryer to low/medium.
This is one of my favorite pads that I own. It's comfortable, soft, thin, very absorbent, and does not stain depsite the light color. This means you won't even need to stain treat it.

I own the 11 inch and the wings snap perfectly around my underwear so it never slides. The wings also don't create a large loop beneath my underwear when snapped.

Just like any pad, you still run the risk of leaking over it. This pad should easily last you several hours but sometimes you may need a longer pad especially at night. I'm a back-bleeder when I sleep, so during the first few nights of my cycle, I need to wear much longer overnights.
