What Are in Disposable Pantyliners?

Pantyliners have a simple top and back layer. Many pads use wood pulp, which when it's washed and bleached, it starts to resemble cotton (check the "Disposable Pads & the Bleaching Process" blog to learn more about this bleaching process). Once the pulp is dried it gets flattened into a thin strip that can be used for pads.

If you look at a cotton ball under a microscope, you can see how the fibers of the wood pulp and cotton ball look similar.
